MGSD Freedom Gundam – Mobile Suit Gundam SEED

Build the impressive MGSD Freedom Gundam from Bandai Spirits, based on the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. As the first model in the high-end MGSD line, this kit combines the detailed internal construction and mechanical gimmicks of Master Grade with the compact, stylized proportions of an SD Gundam.

Despite a height of approximately 115 mm, the MGSD Freedom Gundam features an extensive internal frame and exceptional articulation. The main camera and twin eyes are constructed from double layers of clear parts, while Real Metallic Gloss Injection provides a metallic look to mechanical parts. In the wing binders, Bandai also uses the Reflection Cut technique to make light reflect strikingly off the transparent parts.

Assembly

The parts are supplied on runners and are designed for snap-fit assembly. Glue or paint is not required for the standard build. For the best final result, we recommend hobby nippers, sanding tools, and possibly panel lining to further emphasize the many mechanical details of the compact frame.
